Bethann Wilson is a professional artist based in the Highlandtown Arts District of Baltimore City, MD.  Originally from Long Island, NY, Ms. Wilson graduated with a BFA in 2005 from Maryland Institute College of Art.  There she studied with the late Carl Plansky, founder of Williamsburg Paints- a N Y- based company specializing in high-end, hand-made oil paints .  Plansky encouraged her to simply paint for the love of painting and to channel her emotions into her work.  She has a passion for color and light.  Her paintings often elicit emotional responses from viewers.  Ms. Wilson’s work has received many awards and can be found in private collections across the US and Europe.

In her spare time Ms. Wilson enjoys spending time with her husband, walks in Patterson Park with her Siberian husky, cooking and day-dreaming of world travel.
